Our growing approach

Know the plant.
Grow with it.

Light

A plant’s origins offer clues to the light it has learned to live with. Notice the light in your home, too — its direction, intensity and how it changes.

Roots & substrate

What surrounds the roots in nature? Air, bark, soil or something in between? Choose a substrate that balances breathing room with the moisture the plant needs.

Watering

Light, substrate and the growing environment all affect how quickly moisture changes. Learn the plant’s rhythm rather than following a universal watering calendar.

Observation

A new leaf, a change in texture, roots finding room. Taking a moment to observe helps you understand how your plant responds to its growing environment.

Care starts with understanding.

Where a plant comes from offers clues to the conditions it has adapted to. Notice its habitat, and then the light, substrate and moisture in your own growing space.

There isn’t one universal routine for every plant. Observe how yours responds, make thoughtful changes and keep learning as it grows.
